XXI, the big Barcelona

An abstract experimental piece that recreates the media coverage at the beginning of the twenty-first century up to the Madrid train bombings. It combines real and synthetic images, taken from the media and the Internet. An experimental piece combining real and synthetic images, from the media and the Internet. Its subject matter covers the period between New York 9/11 and the Madrid train bombs.

Produced as a group with Catalina Acelas and Angel Becerra. In memory of Angel.

It is part of a series of 50 experimental micro-pieces created as part of the Digital Video Production subject in the Digital Arts Master's Degree course. Various compression algorithms are applied to the pixels in order to obtain abstract textures.
